Core Real Estate Capital, LLC, a Columbus, Ohio based real estate private equity firm with a 16-year track record and over $700 million of assets under management, is seeking an Investor Relations Coordinator to help oversee its growing portfolio of investments and clients.
Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations at Core Real Estate Capital, the Investor Relations Coordinator will be responsible for providing direct support to the Director of Investor Relations with the oversight and management of Core’s investment portfolio and clients using Yardi’s suite of investment management software. This permanent full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is a motivated, confident, self-starter. The IR Coordinator will be accountable for the data integrity of over 400+ client accounts, and must be accurate, accountable, conscientious, and trustworthy. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through thoughtful, friendly, patient interactions. This position will require a positive attitude and an ability to thrive in a collaborative office environment. Additionally, this role requires an individual who is service minded, experienced in anticipating client’s needs, and focused on building processes that ensure accurate, timely, and consistent interactions.
• Lead the capital raise efforts for new acquisitions • Lead the collection and input of key investment and client data into our Yardi systems • Review and verify existing client data for accuracy and consistency • Support the logistics of client quarterly reporting and the distribution process • Support client interactions and meetings by preparing reports and collateral materials • Monitor and keep client accounts updated for compliance requirements with FINRA and the SEC • Maintenance of YARDI Systems modules including InvestorPlus, Investment Management and Investor Portal, including software upgrades, suggesting improvements and supporting the implementation of chosen solutions • Actively and effectively respond to general client related queries • Establish and populate new client accounts • Participate in annual risk assessments and continually test for adherence to established policies and procedures • Cultivate strong relationships with internal associates including key executives, Asset Management and Accounting, Acquisitions and Fundraisers • Ad hoc projects, reports and other general compliance functions as necessary
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent from an accredited University • Minimum 5+ years of prior experience in finance/accounting, real estate, financial planning, compliance or investor relations • Yardi Investor Management experience required • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
